With strong performance in the legal world, he works both in the public and private law as well as in the academic area.

Public Law

In public law he began as Attorney of National Bank of economic and social development – BNDES, company belonging to the Brazilian government.

Nowadays he is the attorney of Rio de Janeiro’s city.

As Attorney in Rio, among other experiences, he headed the Law Department of Rio’s Secretariat of “Administration”. and the Secretariat of “Sports, Culture and Tourism”. He was the legal coordinator of Rio de Janeiro’ Bid for the Pan American Games Rio 2007, the Olympic bid for the 2012 Olympic Games and the legal consultant for the 2016 Games.

Private Law

 In private law, was part of Marin attorney’s Office and coordinated the Sports Law Department of CMARTINS attorney’s office.  leader of the Legal Department of Clube de Regatas Vasco da Gama, and advocated for Clube de Regatas do Flamengo and São Paulo Futebol Clube.

He was the leader of Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama’s Law Department and  and advocated for Clube de Regatas do Flamengo.  He also held the position of Legal Director of Euro Americana Marketing and Sports Services.

He currently works for the São Paulo Futebol Clube, Chapecoense Football Association, Joinville Esporte Clube and for the Brazilian Association of Football Coaches, through Martinho Miranda attorney’s office.

Academic area

In the Academic area, he has a post-graduate degree in Sports Law from Univercidade and a Master’s Degree from UNESA. He was professor of Veiga de Almeida’s University , IDEMP, and coordinated the Postgraduate Course in Sports Law at Cândido Mendes University.

Today he coordinates the Postgraduate Course in Real Estate Law at Brazilian Association of Real Estate Administrators – ABADI.

He teaches Civil Law at the Foundation for Sea Studies – FEMAR and Sports Law at FACHA University.

He is visiting professor of Sports Law at the LILLE University in FRANCE, teaching at the International Master’s Degree in Sports Administration.

He is a member of the Legal Studies Committee of the Ministry of Sports of Brazil. He is part of the Editorial Board of the Scientific Magazine “Síntese” of Sports Law.

He is the author of the book “Law in Sport”, by Ed. Lumen Júris, which is in the 2nd edition and has published several academic articles in the fields of Civil and Sports Law.

Periodically invited to participate in congresses, he has lectured in numerous events, among national and international congresses of Civil and Sport Law
